PCLTool SDK Option III 64-Bit for Capturing and Converting PCL to PDF
PCLTool SDK Option III 64-Bit is ideal for developers who need to capture and convert legacy PCL print streams into a PDF, PDF/A or XPS file formats while extracting all of the text. Unlike PCLTool SDK Option V, it does not allow for custom script programming to split or edit the PCL while transforming it into PDF, PDF/A or XPS formats. Option III can extract text from virtually any PCL file, even ones with 'scrambled' text or rasterized text (with 1-2 hrs. of OCR processing). If you later find the need to customize the transformation process, like adding logos, barcodes or OMR marks - you can always upgrade to Option V or Option I - if you find the need to write your own custom .EXE.
This latest release from PageTech include support to interpret and output to HP's new PCLm/PCLmS printer language and IEEE's Printer Work Group's multi-page PWG raster format. Both new print file formats support print job ticketing metadata. These new printer description languages are used in mobile or cloud-based applications that need to print to the nearest compatible printer from resource-limited, mobile devices.
