Work Examiner Standard is a set of computer monitoring tools for tracking and monitoring the online and offline activities of your company's employees. It automatically generates detailed reports and allows you to have complete control over which websites and applications your staff can access. Work Examiner can also be configured to periodically take screenshots, capture emails sent and received and record IM messages and keystrokes. - With Internet Monitoring you can find out which one of your employees spends the most amount of time browsing the Internet, what web sites they visit more often and when they do it. Using the report wizard you can flexibly generate Internet usage reports by different criteria. Basing on these data, you can also carry out comparative analysis of your employees' activity in the Internet: what employee or department spends more time using chat rooms and who spends less time doing it
- Unlike other Internet monitoring tools, Work Examiner not only collects data about the web site address and the date of the query, but also calculates the amount of time the user spent on the site (including active and passive time)
- Using Application Monitoring you can find out what applications and for how long are used by your employees. Many reports together with flexible features of filtering data by different criteria allow carrying out full and comprehensive analysis of the usage of applications in your company
- Work Examiner allows controlling the attendance of your employees and their daily, hourly or weekly activity at the computer. Thus, you can find out if anyone comes late, is absent from work, misuses the computer or leaves the workplace if the work should be carried out at the computer
- Internet Filtering allows you to control your employees' access to the Internet. You can specify the sites your employees can visit and the time when they can do it. Using white and black lists you can flexibly, quickly and easily set the Internet access policy for your employees. The specified Internet access policy will be applied within a few minutes for all the computers in the organization
- Application Filtering allows blocking the start of applications for the employees. You can block the start of certain applications or block running all applications except for specified applications. If the application is not in the database, you can add it manually at any moment. For example, you can easily create a rule according to which the employees will be able to start games only at breaks
- With Report Jobs you can create scheduled reports. Each Report Job has highly flexible settings that allow including several reports into the job, customize the parameters of building the report for each specific report, set the reports so that they are published to a certain folder on the server in your network and set a schedule for each job
- Using Work Examiner Standard you can see what your employees are doing at any moment. You can view a list of all active computers connected to the server. You can see the applications your employees are using at the moment and the web sites they are visiting. You can also check the attendance status of the user (whether the user is working at the computer or is away). Besides, when you view the list of user sessions you can filter users arranging them into groups
- With Quick Reports you can quickly view the statistics of your employees' work at the computer. Several views are available for viewing the statistics, providing the statistics for the Internet or applications. When viewing Quick Reports you can flexibly set the time interval for generating reports
- With Linked Reports you can easily generate reports while being in different parts of the console for the object you are working with, whether it's a web site, an application, a user or a computer
- To make the customizing and using of Work Examiner more convenient you can arrange such objects as User, Computer, Web Site and Application into groups. Using groups will allow you to set the policies for using Internet and applications more flexibly, and will also help you when you create reports on using the Internet and applications
- Automatic grouping is provided for such objects as Web Site and Application. Basing on the auto grouping rules the objects can be automatically placed into one group or another when they are added to the Work Examiner database. In future the administrator can move a web site or an application to another group. Automatic grouping reduces the cost of total ownership of the system considerably
- Each report created in the system can be exported to various formats. About ten different formats are available for export. Exporting reports allows the managers to view convenient reports about how Internet and applications are used on any computer
- Work Examiner Standard can be easily and quickly distributed in the network. You can install client modules remotely and don't need to be present on the computers where the program is being installed. Besides, Work Examiner Standard is supplied with a free Firebird database management system that is installed automatically
