PasswdElf_Basic - A known-security and easy-to-use password management tool. It’s credible.
With the development of internet, user name and passwd are more and more, and remembering passwd become a real problem for us. Using a management tool is a good way, but maybe most of us shrink back at the sight of the “unknown security” or the “complexity-to-use”.
PasswdElf is the “known-security” and “easy-to-use” personal passwd management tool. You only need 2 hotkey (Add passwd: Alt+A; Query passwd: Alt+Q) to manage and query your passwd.
Known-Security:
1. The passwd DB file and all of the passwd information are only saved at localhost, and PasswdElf do not send anything to network. So you don’t worry about the program leaks passwd information via the internet. You can create an outbound rule of windows firewall for PasswdElf to block it, or you can test it with any other firewall or security testing tools.
2. The Passwd DB is encrypted by “AES-256”, a very secure encrypt algorithm. Even if the passwd DB file is missing, the cracked chance is very, very small. Note: the more complex of your PasswdElf login passwd, the stronger of the security.
3. Keep passwd 30 seconds: After query action, the passwd will keep 30 seconds, then auto cover it.
4. Security Suggestion: Only save part of the passwd to PasswdElf. For example: the passwd is ‘12AB@#’, and then save ‘AB@#’ to PasswdElf. After query it, add ‘12’ to the header manually. This way is very security (unless reads your brain's memory), and you only need remember fixed string, security and easily.

1. Open Query Page: Quickly open the passwd query page only need a hotkey (default is Alt+Q).
2. Query Passwd: You can input the keyword (no matter where the focus) to query your passwd. And multi-keyword will quickly position the passwd you want.
